Gasoline Media recently worked with Citrus Australia on a major WordPress website redevelopment, delivering a new membership platform, custom billing solution and event website for Citrus Congress, Australia’s premier citrus industry event.
The project included rebuilding the main Citrus Australia website using WordPress, Paid Memberships Pro, Gravity Forms, Mailchimp integration and a range of custom WordPress plugins designed to support membership management, data migration, member imports, billing processes and general site administration.
A key part of the project was replacing an overly complex and expensive Salesforce-based process with a custom WordPress membership and billing solution better suited to Citrus Australia’s day-to-day needs. This helped reduce ongoing platform costs by thousands of dollars while still giving the Citrus Australia team practical tools to manage members, payments, renewals, forms and website content.
Gasoline Media also worked with the Citrus Australia team and their event management team to produce the Citrus Congress website. The website allowed citrus industry members, growers, sponsors, exhibitors and event attendees to view event information, access program details, book tickets and find specific information about the congress.
To support ongoing website management and digital reporting, the project also included Google Analytics reporting, giving Citrus Australia better visibility over website traffic, user behaviour, event interest and member engagement.
This project is a strong example of how Gasoline Media can build practical, cost-effective WordPress solutions for industry associations, membership organisations, events and businesses that need more than a standard website. From Paid Memberships Pro configuration and Gravity Forms workflows through to Mailchimp integration, data migration, custom plugin development and Google Analytics reporting, we help organisations build systems that are easier to manage and better suited to their real-world operations.
The Citrus Congress was a great success for Citrus Australia, and we’re proud to have supported both their membership platform and one of Australia’s leading citrus industry events.
We look forward to continuing our work with Citrus Australia on future WordPress, membership, event and digital projects.
